About Nursery

Sri Sri Satyadeva Nursery took root in half and acre plot in Kadiapulanka in the year 1950, on the banks of River Godavari, and grew up into the biggest nursery in India. Quality, nothing but quality, helped it to progress into one of the biggest supplier of plants in India today.
Visitors, traders or farmers, whoever visit the nursery leave it with a pleasant experience. They are welcomed more like guests rather than as mere customers. Indeed, we became popular for our hospitality! Explaining about the different varieties of plants with patience, the aim is not just to sell the plants but to become a stakeholder in their progress. It is our belief that if a tree is known by its fruits, the supplier will be known by the tree he supplied.
Since early days, packaging and transporting of plants became one of the unique features of our nursery. After the farmer selects his plants, we gather all his selections to the transport bay. The plants were quality tested, adequately watered, packaged with bamboo sticks and paper, and loaded scientifically into a pre-planned pattern and transported to its destination. From a tiny seedling to a full grown tree, the process remains the same. Indeed, we are so sentimental about the whole process that no loaded truck ever leaves the premises without one of our men breaking a coconut!
From individual farmers to landscaping agencies, such measures made us supply crores of plants to every nook and corner of the country. With utter humility, the entire team of proprietors, toil day and night along with their workers to protect and nurture the seedling and saplings. After all it is a nursery !!! Our contribution to the protection of the environment and our share in making the world green has been recognized with many awards and rewards.
