Best loading process
The process of loading is one of the unique features that has no parallel in nursery industry. Backed up by 5-6 loading points at different corners of the nursery, each point spreading half an acre space, they give us enough time to package every single plant before being loaded into trucks for long distance hauling. Liberal use of dried banana leaves between the rough iron surfaces of the truck and the tarpaulin cover of the truck protects the plants from bruises. The cushioning brought by the natural dried banana leaves keeps the loaded plants intact until they reach long distance destinations like Kashmir, Ahmedabad, or Gauhati or Trivandrum. As utmost care is taken to package and load the plants, we often use hydraulic cranes to load huge trees into long trucks without giving stress to the trees. The process of packaging such huge trees starts 4 to 5 months before they are loaded into trucks. Even the pattern of arranging the plants in the truck, for long or short distance hauling, according to their size and sensitivity is a unique proprietary process of our nursery ! 62 years of exporting plants to the nook and corners of India, and sometimes abroad has given us vast experience of packaging and transporting the plants.

Clean and Weed free farm.
Clean and Weed free farm. The entire farm, to the last contour, is speck clean and weed free. Utmost care is taken to keep the entire field clean and continuous and rigorous vigil is maintained to keep away weeds. Not only is the campus clean and weed free but we spend large amount of time and labour to aesthetically arrange the plants according to their biological requirement throughout the nursery. Indeed, it is a visual pleasure for visitors in any season. Many a prominent visitor has acknowledged the aesthetic arrangement of plants and trees.
INFRASTRUCTURE
• Green Houses in Vast Area. The numerous varieties of plants, especially the indoors and the seasonal that we propagate and nurse require vast areas of green cover. Hence, we have provided green houses at different points of the nursery to facilitate healthy growth of plants that require green cover.
•Local Irrigation System. Complex network of piped irrigation is provided at close points to provided water to the plants. Even before sunrise one can observe an army of workers watering the plants facilitating their healthy growth. In summer, our efficient irrigation system helps us to water the plants in the evening too.
•Road system in the entire field. The entire nursery is well designed with all weather road system to facilitate distribution and transportation of plants. Even heavy vehicles can reach the far end of the nursery to transport plants and large trees.
•Best Loading Points. Rain or shine, the galvanized steel sheds give us optimum time and space to load a small sapling to a huge tree into large trucks. The loading points are distributed all over the nursery to facilitate best packaging and loading.
•Skilled Labour. It may not be an exaggeration to say that we have the best skilled workforce. Nurseries require utmost care and hence are labour intensive. Our human resource management practices has set industry benchmark and hence from an ordinary daily wage labourer to a supervisor everyone is committed and involved.
•Quality Check. Any plant before being transported or handeover to the customer undergoes at least five stages of quality checking. The first stage begins when the supervisor accompanies the customer throughout the nursery and notes the requirement. Quality plants will be identified and the supervisor will order the plants to the nearest loading point. The head worker will select healthy and vigorous plants among the variety selected by the customer and sends them to the loading point. Another supervisor will count the number and checks the plants before ordering them to be packed. The packaging team while packing the plants with used newspaper and bamboo sticks re-checks the quality and observes if they are well watered and can withstand the arduous journey. The next will be loading the plants if it is a bulk purchase. Workers with expertise will load the plants into the truck in a pre-planned pattern liberally using dried banana leaves. While they are being loaded it is mandatory that one of the proprietors will make a final check before being transported. This sort of rigorous quality check at different levels has brought the nursery many laurels.
